A Peaceful and Productive Day!

Today was a lovely peaceful day in the classroom. We all worked hard to catch up on work and some even had a chance to be creative and wrote some lovely poems and stories. I really enjoyed some of the limericks that some of you wrote.  Check the Author page to read some of these. Here's quite a funny one:

There was a lady called Miss Perkins,
Who ate nothing but pickled gherkins,
Then one day she stopped
When her tummy just popped
And that was the end of Miss Perkins
We missed Aaliyah and Lukho again today - we hope you will both be better soon.
Don't forget to learn hard for the Maths Test tomorrow. Revise the following:
  • Number concept (writing numbers in words, value of digits, half way between etc)
  • Rounding off
  • Numberlines
  • Addition, subtraction and multiplication
  • Word Sums (remember correct setting out)
Have a good afternoon, its almost Friday and the end of another week.

  1. If you wrote a limerick at school today or you can think of a good one at home, add it on our blog.
